Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate
The first one said, “My it’s getting late”. Remember that rhyme? It’s still going strong. Mateo learned it in school. I couldn’t get it out of my head on Friday when we went to the “Blaze”. It was more like 4,000 pumpkins though. For the past three years, we have been going to the Jack-o-lantern Blaze in Hudson Valley, NY. It is rather incredible. All of these volunteers and artists carve thousands of pumpkins and they are displayed in really creative ways. It’s become a Halloween tradition for us and this year we went with two families who we are very close with. Because we were a large group, I was unable to spend um, forever, taking the shots I would normally take. I had to click and move. Oh, and it was raining and cold. But still fun. The best part was the warm apple cider at the end. Here are some of my less-than-stellar shots, but you can still get the idea. I highly recommend going. The tickets sell out quickly though so start to check when the summer ends.
