Recent dinner at Bar Taco in Port Chester
Dinner with friends out on the water. Felt a bit like a mini-holiday.
You choose your own tacos. They even did veg ones for me.
I recently had the honor and privilege of photographing a number of shows through ASJAIS Images.
Anyone who is close to me knows that I pretty much live for things like this. I'm kind of obsessed...Read more
I adore this growing little family. I had the privilege of photographing their first daughter when she was just a few days old. She's now one and 1/2 and the big sister of a brand...Read more

There was this phenomenal Milly by Michelle Smith show last year where the clothes were just…dazzling.
The colors and the styles. And I took photo after photo that made me melt.
I wanted to blow each shot up and frame them.
Here is one of the shots which I did actually enlarge for myself and I decided to try to draw it.
So it’s actually not a photograph – it’s a drawing of the photograph.
It feels very musical to me. And it reminds me of Beyonce. I think she must have worn a skirt like this somewhere or maybe I just feel like she needs to wear this skirt.
So everytime that I see this shot, I hear it.
I was asked to photograph a milestone birthday for someone who I am a huge fan of.
It was one of those parties where everything falls into place perfectly – the weather, the setting, the food, the guests, the music, and of course, the energy.
But even if it had been a huge rainstorm, or if some crisis happened with the food or something, it would still have been extremely memorable because this is a case where it is very much about the individual – who they are, what they stand for, and the people they have impacted in their life.
I think what I admire most in him, is his zest for living. His ability to enjoy all that he has worked for and to share it with his family who he treasures more than anything.
It was a huge honor to be charged with capturing some of the memories and to try to give a little bit back to a family who has added so much to my life, to the lives of my family and my friends.

I recently photographed this Wedding celebration for Crista and Patrick. They were the cutest couple and had great chemistry. They were very fun to photograph, and she’s so striking, it wasn’t terribly difficult. Congratulations to them and wishing many years of happiness!

Portrait session for baby girl, Roma. Her Mother wanted to wait until her baby girl was six-months-old to do the portraits, as opposed to doing newborn photos. She wanted her baby to be able to sit up and smile. We did them this weekend and I think it was a great choice to do the photos now. I love how well she photographed and she was a delightful baby
Sketch of a shot I took at Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2011 collection.
Every look of her’s was phenomenal. Feminine and beautiful.
And when she came out at the end to take her bow, she was just as charming as you would expect.
I'd like to think of it as a super-personal Photography Blog chronicling my never-ending quest to discover how to lead a life of great style. Whether it be my overall look, or my home, or my parties, or something as small as a choice of dinner napkins for my table or a birthday card that I give to a friend, those kinds of things bring me happiness and I know I'm not alone in that.
I know I really love something when it's almost like dessert to me. When I want to savor it and enjoy it. So that's where the candy fits in.
Life can be sometimes be difficult, scary, or ridiculously challenging. I experience these feelings along with the rest of the world. But this is how I keep my own happiness on track. Enjoy my photographs, my drawings, and my thoughts.
